Some pictures of gray whales in Magdalena Bay


We traveled across the Baja to the Pacific Ocean (2 or 3 hours) and took a motorized skiff into Magdalena Bay to see the gray whales and babies. There are about 100 whales in this bay, 3000 in the area, and 25,000 in the world. These grays migrate from Alaska every year.

The baby would surface first, then the mother. This one was very close to the boat.
